Prof Munir Alam is a graduate from King Edward Medical College, Lahore Pakistan session 1985 to 1991. Completed one year internship (House Job) at the Mayo Hospital, Lahore from Jan to Dec 1992. Selected by the Federal Government of Pakistan and posted as Registrar in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi , Pakistan from 1993 to 1999 and completed training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Passed FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Feb 2000.

Satisfactorily completed higher surgical training again as Registrar in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland from July 2000 to June 2007 in the tertiary care well reputed Government and Private hospitals in Dublin, Ireland and passed FCPS Plastic Surgery in 2005 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan.

One year fellowship in Hand Surgery from Jan to Dec 2008 in England.

International / European Board certified and accredited in Cosmetic Surgery 2009.

Currently based in Saudi Arabia from Jan 2021 and working as:

1.Consultant Plastic Surgeon, King Abdullah Hospital, Bisha, Saudi Arabia.

2.Professor of Plastic Surgery, College of Medicine, University of Bisha, Saudi Arabia.

3.Administrator, Royal Pak Saudi Clinics, Bisha, Saudi Arabia.
